About Acklen Dunning

Renowned designer Acklen Dunning produces unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry. Her medium: semi-precious stones, Baroque pearls, turquoise, coral, rock crystal, agate, jade and more. Her style:  fresh shapes—slices, palm pearls, large oval agate and gold vermeil balls--plus inspired styling: from strands to loop necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Worn in sets or alone, Dunning’s line is curated to complement the lives of sophisticated women from business casual to gala events.

A gifted artisan, Dunning studied in Paris and was a teacher and journeyman at the Isabel O’Neil Studio Workshop in New York City. In 1995, she launched her collection of Nuri designer evening bags. The precious bags have been compared in the press to Faberge eggs.
